The Student Academy to Inspire Learning offers programs for students to stay engaged in their futures all year round. Mentorship programs allow students the opportunity to explore the college process and receive assistance writing and editing college applications and scholarship essays. Teachers across the state can also get involved in SAIL's outreach programs year-round, helping connect students with opportunities both at their schools and at events on the University of Oregon's Eugene campus.
Student Mentorship Programs
Do you have questions about college or need help with application and scholarship essays? SAIL college students can assist with your college process, edit essays, and answer your questions. Spanish-speaking assistance is available. Mentor sessions can take place in local schools or virtually.
Outreach Programs for Teachers
Want to connect your students with opportunities available through SAIL? Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
- Host a college student Q&A panel presentation at your school or classroom (in person or virtually)
- Invite SAIL to present at FAFSA nights, Parent and Senior/Junior/Sophomore/Freshmen nights, or college fairs
- Join us at the UO's Eugene campus for pre-college events
