Summer SAIL Eligibility

To qualify student participant must:

  • Be an Oregon resident
  • Be enrolled in high school (rising 9th through 12th grade for Day-Only Program & rising 10th through 12th grade for Overnight/Residential Program)
  • Meet at least one of the additional eligibility criteria below. 
    • Financial Eligibility: Family taxable income may not exceed 150% of the federally defined poverty line.
    • First-Generation Eligibility: Neither parent (natural or adoptive) earned a bachelor's degree before your 18th birthday. Or you reside with and also receive support from only one parent who did not earn a bachelor's degree before you were 18.
    • Underrepresented Eligibility: Member of a racial and/or ethnic group that is historically underrepresented in higher education; Hispanic or Latino/a/x, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Middle Eastern or Arab, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
    • Unaccompanied Youth Eligibility: Not living with family, In state custody, foster care, or homeless.
