FIG Assistant: Audrey Andrews

Hi! My name is Audrey and I will be your FIG assistant in the Human Hierarchies FIG. This is my second year as an FA, as well as my second year working with the Human Hierarchies FIG. I love working with the Human Hierarchies FIG because with the mix of sociology and international issues, students learn about important topics that will expand their worldview and give them insight into concepts like intersectionality.

I am originally from Molalla, Oregon, which is where I spent my whole life before moving to Eugene for college two years ago. My favorite things to do are cooking,  spending time with my family, and crafts like painting and embroidering.

I am a third year junior at the University of Oregon. I am a Family and Human Services major and after graduation I have plans to be employed with the state of Oregon as a caseworker. I hope to help families in need, underserved communities, and foster children.

If you have registered for this awesome FIG, I would love to get to know all of you before school starts. If you’d like to connect, you can email me and tell me your name, a little about yourself, and why you are taking this FIG! I look forward to seeing you all this fall, have a great summer and stay healthy!
