Welcome to UO! I am a Career & Academic Advisor who serves undergraduate students in the School of Journalism and Communication. I previously worked as an instructor and graduate employee in the History Department and, while still a history nerd at heart, love that my role with the SOJC allows me to work more directly with students as they pursue their academic and professional goals. I believe we are all storytellers, and I want to assist students in finding their own voices and creating meaningful career pathways that reflect their personal interests and values. When I am not teaching or advising, I can be found reading one of the many novels on my TBR while my cat does her best to distract me.

Welcome to the flock! I work with Annie Reiva as a Career and Academic Advisor in the Student Success Center in the SOJC. I come to this work with a master's degree in Higher Education Administration and have a vested interest in thinking about how we can remove barriers to accessing college for "non-traditional" students. I'm excited to teach our transfer seminar course this fall and have a more direct impact on our students’ transition to UO. When I'm not working at UO, you can find me consuming copious amounts of content in the form of books, TV shows, Movies, and TikTok videos while somehow finding time to hang out with my partner, dog, cat, and neighbors in our shared garden.
