Seminar Instructor: Vanessa Truelove

Welcome to the flock! I work with Hailey Nailor as a Career and Academic Advisor in the Student Success Center in the SOJC. I come to this work with a master's degree in Higher Education Administration and have a vested interest in thinking about how we can remove barriers to accessing college for "non-traditional" students. I'm excited to teach our transfer seminar course this fall and have a more direct impact on our students’ transition to UO. When I'm not working at UO, you can find me consuming copious amounts of content in the form of books, TV shows, Movies, and TikTok videos while somehow finding time to hang out with my partner, dog, cat, and neighbors in our shared garden.
