About the FIG:

This FIG is designed for students who have already declared a major in Art, Art and Technology, or Product Design. (ART 115 is required for these three majors.)

The course will serve as an introduction to the resources and strategies available to you as you launch your own creative practice. Through community building and collaboration, the exploration of various sites on campus, guest speakers, and engaging in making, we will construct a performative map that will expose you to the vast possibilities that lie ahead!

ART 115 Surface, Space, and Time - CoreEd or major satisfying course

Introduces interdisciplinary media processes, critical theory, formal communication design, color theory, skills in objective evaluation and critique, and how materials, processes, and context establish meaning.
