Frames of Mind: Disability and the Media FIG Instructor and Assistant

Charlie Deitz

FIG Instructor: Charlie Deitz

Hi there! I’m Charlie Deitz, and I teach journalism and media classes here at the University of Oregon. My work focuses on storytelling, news reporting, and helping students see how media shapes the world we live in. Before I started teaching, I spent years working as a public radio reporter. When I’m not on campus, you can usually find me playing music, throwing darts (sometimes well, sometimes not!), or hanging out with my 15-year-old daughter. I'm really excited to dive into Frames of Mind: Disability and the Media with you this fall and to start some important conversations together.

Hello I'm Evan Bunin!

I’m a second year student at the University of Oregon. I’m from the Bay Area like many students here at UO. I’m passionate about basketball whether it’s watching the NBA or even playing hoops on the court! I love talking to people so please reach out to me if you ever want to discuss anything!
