This FIG is a one-credit class tailored specifically for first-term students to explore the vibrant world of Art and Design. Students with a passion for creativity will learn more about the majors of Art, Product Design, and Art and Technology.Delve into the nuances of each program as you engage with faculty and fellow students, gaining invaluable insights and forging connections that will shape your academic path. We will meet faculty in various departments, take tours of studio spaces, learn more about the classes you’ll choose as part of your major programs, get valuable information about application processes and deadlines, and learn about campus resources. This FIG provides a supportive community and sense of belonging as you transition to the University of Oregon and explore your interests in the creative fields in the College of Design. Any exploring student interested in learning more about any of the following majors is welcome to take this one credit class:
