FIG Assistant: Ava
Hey there! I'm Ava. I was born in and raised in Beaverton, Oregon, and have lived there all my life (besides college!). In the fall, I'll be a fourth-year Architecture student, double-majoring in Ethnic Studies, with a minor in Art History. I have a great interest in affordable housing, and hope to work towards a more equitable future through community-and collaborative-based design! I LOVED this FIG freshman year, and I wanted to help pay it forward by supporting more first-year architecture students. When I'm not in studio, I work at a local bubble tea shop, and like to boulder, run, sew, play board games, hike, and spend time with my friends. I'm always out and about looking for the next fun thing - I have a great list of places to eat and fun things to do here, if you're interested! If you have questions about anything - the architecture program, college life, living in Eugene, etc, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always happy to chat with you, and I look forward to meeting you all! 🙂
