Hey everyone! I'm Samantha (she/her), and I am super ecstatic to be your FIG Assistant this year. I major in Cinema Studies along with a minors in Comic and Cartoon Studies, Comparative Literature, and Creative Writing. I'm from Roseville, CA which is right outside Sacramento. I love going on hikes around town and hitting up house shows around campus (some of my best friends play in the local bands). One of the best post-show snacks is 5 minutes from campus!! (Dough Co. I love you please make me an ambassador).
I love reading and movies (if you can't tell by my major and minors). Special topics that interest me are 2010s teen dramas, zombie apocalypses, horror, Stranger Things, and a lot more. So, if you're interested in any of those topics feel free to reach out! And if not and you're just looking for someone to answer your questions, reach out anyways!
