Daniela Cardenas-Riumallo is an academic advisor at the College of Design, where she has supported students for nearly two years. With a total of five years of experience in academic advising, Daniela is passionate about helping students navigate their educational paths and creative journeys.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Oregon, with a concentration in painting. While her formal studies focused on painting, her artistic practice has primarily centered around drawing and conceptual work.

Hello! My name is Eleanor and I am so excited to be the Inside Art FIG Assistant this year. I am majoring in art, aiming to achieve my BFA with a concentration in painting/drawing. I grew up in Portland and greatly appreciate Oregon's art scene and beautiful landscapes. Naturally Eugene has been a great fit for me, and I hope it is for you too!
My interests are swimming, making collages, and occasionally going line dancing. As you navigate your first year at the UO don’t be afraid to reach out with any questions - from how to manage academics to what the best places for exploring off campus are - I am here to help.
I can’t wait to meet all of y'all and see what you will create this fall term!
