Alison’s focus is on helping future teachers understand the role of teacher and student subjectivities in the classroom and how this informs teaching practices. Alison’s research interests are grounded in a feminist post-structuralist theoretical framework as she examines the intersections of gender, race, class, and identity in classrooms and schools.
