Chemistry in Nature

We will explore how chemistry pervades the natural world including biology, geology, and the broader environment.

Note: Please see academic advisor before attempting to add a chemistry FIG.

Victoria De Rose is a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Her laboratory investigates Bioinorganic Chemistry and Chemical Biology, with a focus on the interactions between metal ions, both natural and therapeutic, and biological molecules. Prof. DeRose received her B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago and PhD in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of California-Berkeley. She is originally from Wisconsin, and has been at Oregon since 2006.
