On September 25th all FIGs and FIG students began an eight week long competitive scavenger hunt! The hunt gives students the opportunity to get to know campus, their peers, and the surrounding community.
Each FIG is a team, and each team competes by completing items on the challenge list. Each item is worth a certain amount of points, and the FIG with the highest number of points will be the winner! We will also offer specialty awards, such as funniest or most creative post.
Want to earn some extra points for your FIG team in the FIG Hunters: 8 Weeks to Find it All scavenger hunt? Come to Ducks After Dark tonight, 10/8/2015 and visit our table for the Common Reading! We’ll be talking about this year’s book, Station Eleven and the many opportunities to get connected to campus and fellow students!
To earn points for your FIG, take a picture with the FYP staff at our table and post it to Instagram. Make sure to tag @uofigs and tell us what FIG team to give the points to in the description!
Leaves falling, chill in the air, the smell of food cooking, and there’s always money in the banana stand…the ASUO street fair is here! Now is your chance to go as a FIG to explore the fair’s variety of vendors and peruse the different little shops and stalls.
The best part? Visiting the fair and sending in a picture of yourself or your FIG enjoying the activities and vendors is now a Surprise Item for the FIG Hunters Scavenger Hunt!
