FIG Hunters: The Hunt is On!

FIG Hunters: Community, Connections, Competition

What is FIG Hunters?

FIG students (along with their FA and Faculty member) have the opportunity to participate in a friendly competition during the fall term. In addition to learning about campus resources, bonding with your fellow FIG members, and connecting to the Eugene Community, FIGs win prizes and have some creative fun!

How FIG Hunters works?

Each FIG operates as their own team and competes against other FIGs to win prizes throughout the term. The ultimate goal is to win the hunt by gaining more points than the other FIGs. The activities are simple to complete, but FIG teams have an opportunity to earn bonus points for each item when they get extra creative with the item task.  For example:

 Explore Oregon Item #5:

Take a ride withyour FIG on the EMX to downtown Eugene (capture a picture or short 30 second video and post on @uofigs Instagram.  Worth 19 points

BONUS 25 points if you capture a video of everyone singing Wheels on the Bus, or any other creative idea your FIG decides to show us while riding the EMX.

How to Submit Items?

Post photographs and videos on Instagram and tag @uofigs or email directly to figs@uoregon.edu

Include the name of your FIG and the category/item number of the activity.

All item submissions are DUE BY: Monday, November 27, 2017

How and what does a FIG win?

Collect the most points and you win FIG Hunters, it is as simple as that. Get creative and rack up bonus points to ensure your victory. But most of all, remember to have fun!

Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place FIG teams. We also award weekly prizes for creative submissions and a special award for the FIG that gets the most points of Halloween week.
